Game of Skate

Morgan Christian Church and Phenom Skateboards is hosting a flat ground Game of Skate Friday Sept 25th at 6pm. We will decide divisions when we see the turnout. Parents are required to be there to sign a waiver if the participant is under 18. After SKATE, there will be a 30 minute showing of Next X starring Micah Wu. There will be refreshments and cornhole. New Friends and New Tricks

There was a crowd of bikers, skaters, one ripstick and a scooter at the park yesterday. Josh Wu dropped into the quarter pipe for the first time on his scooter. Joey Schurman got his first rock to fakie after a few hard falls. His mom Jackie shared a cooler of drinks with all the overheated skaters. Travis, Tyler, Scotty, John hung out playing hoops. "Ones" juked out Pastor Dave real good on the basketball court. A biker named Travis mentioned that his mom Paula Golden was at St. Luke's hospital. Keep her in your prayers.
